Pre-Game Format

Both Teams prepare the field 25 minutes before game time.

Visiting team takes infield practice first for 10 minutes

Home team takes infield practice next for 10 minutes

All players line up on their respective baselines 5 minutes prior to game time to say the Little League Pledge (Home team chooses a player to say the Little League Pledge)


Field Preparation

It is the responsibility of all Canyon Creek teams to prepare our fields before a game and repair our fields after a game, REGARDLESS of which team is designated as home team.
Before the game:
Rake and fill-in the pitcher's mound and batter's box.

Drag the field

Water the infield and chalk the foul lines and batter's box

Set up bases, cones, and scoreboards
After the game:
Put away bases, cones, scoreboards and fence

Rake pitcher's mound and batter's box, removing all indentations and making them smooth

Be sure dugouts and spectator areas are clean and all trash is disposed of properly.

Lock all equipment in storage boxes and/or container



Home team will take the 3rd baseline dugout.

Visiting team will take the 1st baseline dugout.

Home team must provide the umpire with two game balls

Each team provides their own scorekeeper

Home team must also furnish one Official Scorekeeper to score the game in the Official Scorebook. All scorekeepers are required to sit together and shall assure all score books are in agreement.

Both scorekeepers shall assist managers in assuring that the league's substitution and minimum playing rules are met.

Immediately after the game, each team must pick up all the trash on their side of the field and around bleachers. Parents and spectators are encouraged to assist in cleanup.




All spectators should encourage players and never criticize players, managers, coaches or umpires

Spectators should assist in keeping non-players back from the playing area.



Edit Player's Statistics:

This feature will allow you to enter or edit player's statistics for a particular game. This will let you track players performance and progress throughout the season.

  1. First make sure you are signed in as manager/admin.
  2. Select "Team" from the menu tabs from the at the top of the page
    (you may have to select season, league and team at the top of the page)
  3. Select results from the menu pages at the left
  4. On the team results page, find the game you wish to edit and click on the "Edit Game Statistics" icon to the right of the game (the icon will be green if stats have already been entered and black if no stats have been entered thus far)
  5. After clicking the icon, you will be presented with a spreadsheet with all players and input fields for all statistical categories across the page. At the top of the page will be tabs for different positions (goalies, players, etc.)
  6. Enter any statistical data for each player as appropriate and be sure to check the "ATN" box for all players who attended the game, regardless of whether they had any data reported.
  7. Click "Submit" to confirm changes
