We hope you will join us as we celebrate our first Opening Day at Keiser Park. The day kicks off with the Parade of Teams at 10am.

The events of the day include:
  • Parade of Teams on Field C/AAA Field at 10am. Players will meet their team in the small parking lot to the North of the large eating area under the trees. Please plan on arriving early to find your team. Teams will begin meeting at 9:15am. After dropping off your child with their team, parents should proceed to Field C/AAA Field to get a spot to watch the parade.
  • Team Photographs will be taken throughout the day. Photo schedule remains the same as original schedule . Order forms will be available at the photo tables if you haven’t received one from your coach. Photographers will be in the wooded area just beyond the dirt road between Bertozzi and Field A. Look for the blue pop-up tents. Each player will receive a FREE Memory Mate photo package that includes an individual and team photo and a magnet courtesy of the league. You may pre-order online additional photos or specialty items, such as magazine cover, trading cards, etc. Save yourself time on Sunday by ordering/paying online. Check out their site: www.shootingstarsphoto.com ; select ORDER BEFORE PHOTO DAY. Sign up and use the access code: so217912. An order form must be completed even if you are only getting the FREE photo package.
  • Jubilee Jumps will have an assortment of bounce houses and attractions, including the rock wall, for kids of all ages. An Unlimited Ride wrist band will be available for $5 or individual tickets for $1. Jumps will be open until 9:50am and then start up again after the Parade of Teams. **Dunk Tank just added**
  • BBQ Lunch (located in picnic area) All players will receive a FREE lunch! Parents and siblings pay just $5 per person. Lunch includes hot dog, drink, chips and cookies.
  • Home Run Derby will be held for players ages 9, 10, 11 & 12 on Field C/AAA Field. Sign-ups will be at the Snack Shack, the first twelve to sign-up in each age group will compete. $5 to participate. Derby begins at 11:30 after the Parade of Teams. Trophy & prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for each age division!
  • Team Competitions will be held for Rookie, Machine Pitch, A & AA teams. Rookie & Machine Pitch teams will compete in a base running competition while the Minor A & AA teams participate in a throwing relay. Team Competitions will be held on Bertozzi & Uchityl fields. Prizes for the winning team in each Division!!
  • Hula Hoop & Bubble Gum Blowing Contests will be held throughout the day!
  • Driven Raceway Raffle Enter to win a Driven Raceway Birthday Party Package!!
  • Snack Shack will open at 9am selling coffee, drinks, candy and snacks.
  • Ice Cream Fundraiser will be held by the 12U travel team. Ice cream cones will be on sale for $2, all proceeds go to the 12U Jr. Jags Travel Team.
